I know some of you prefer to hold a real book in your hands, so I’ve complied this Bookstore with the Best Must-Read Marketing Books that I’ve found lately. All these are Amazon affiliate links. Of course, you can get these at your public library, but you may want to keep some of these gems for future reference.
One thing to keep in mind is that since social media and digital marketing changes so quickly, there is some data in these that are a tad outdated. However, it’s the useful and evergreen marketing ideas, strategies and tactics that are priceless. For me they all get 5 stars!

The New Rules of Marketing and PR: How to Use Social Media, Online Video, Mobile Applications, Blogs, News Releases, and Viral Marketing to Reach Buyers Directly by David Meerman Scott. Absolutely spot on! There are so many companies that are still trying to market like it’s 1999. It’s time to get Social Savvy!
Purple Cow, New Edition: Transform Your Business by Being Remarkable by Seth Godin. A Marketing Bookstore will be incomplete without a book by Seth Godin. Here he explains how a business needs to stand out to differentiate themselves from the competition. Regular cows are boring, but a purple cow stands out.
