Everyone has competition of some sort.
What’s cool, however, is that you can keep tabs on your competition online and on social media without them know it! I explain how in my latest Facebook Live Wednesdays with the Wiz episode.
Here’s what you need to do to keep tabs on your competition:
- Sign up for a free Feedly account and subscribe to their blogs. How often are they blogging? Blog more often and you’ll get above them in Google search.
- If you have over 100 likes on your Facebook business page, you can add “Pages to Watch” in your Insights. See how often their posting, how many likes they’ve gotten, etc.
- Create a private Twitter list for your competitors and monitor what they’re posting.
- Check out their Pinterest and Google+ accounts regularly to see what and how often they’re posting. Don’t follow them! They’ll be notified and see you when you do.
Don’t know how to use these tools? Take our Social Media Boot Camp! The last live one for the summer in Phoenix will be in June. We’ll be sending an email out when it’s open for registration.
