I have a confession to make. I can’t draw for beans. That is extremely frustrating for a creative person such as myself. In the early 90’s, when PCs first came out, I was blessed to have a boss that was willing to just let me play with the graphics program, Corel Draw!, and I discovered that on the computer I could create beautiful graphics, cool ads and flyers. Eventually, I started my own business doing graphic design and desktop publishing.
When AOL & email first came out, I thought, “Who needs this?” Then when the World Wide Web arrived, I saw what a web page was and said, “I can do that!” and proceeded to learn HTML and Internet Marketing. I started “Creative Eye Marketing” and became one of the first Internet marketing experts in Miami, FL.
I held seminars through the North Dade Chamber of Commerce covering, “What is the Internet, where it’s going, and why your company needs to be on it.”
Fast Forward to 2011
I saw that many people didn’t understand Social Media or how to promote their businesses with it. It’s déjà vu for me. Now I’m holding seminars teaching business owners, “What is Social Media, where it’s going and why your company needs to be on it,” and I’m specializing in just Social Media business page set-ups, strategic planning and training people.
What’s different is that back in the 90’s you needed to know HTML coding, have the right web creation software and really know what you’re doing. Not so today. WordPress has made website creation and management so easy that anyone can do it. Sure, you need to learn how to use it (I can teach you.), but, for a simple website, you don’t have to have a “webmaster” in-house or on retainer when you want to update or change something on your site.
And the Social Media marketing tools are free and easy to use. You just have to learn how to properly use them and once you learn and start doing it, it becomes second nature to you, (just like email) and it’ll take less time.
To help small business owners who are struggling with how to market their businesses on the social media networks.
With my Class on Skillshare, you can easily learn of social media, content marketing and search engine optimization (SEO)!
I can teach you how to blog on WordPress.
And I’ve made it easy to learn!
AZ Social Media Wiz LLC is 8 years old!
What I’ve learned from doing live classes since I started my company, is that the small business owner knows their business, they are not marketers, they are not sales people, they are not accountants. They know their business. But to be successful in business — no matter how large or small — you either have to learn how to do marketing, sales and accounting, or hire someone to do it for you. Either way, you have to invest some time and money to find what works best for you and your business.
So you’re not “tech-savvy”!
The videos are easy to understand and you can pause them and rewind and apply what you’re learning at your own speed, in your own time in the comfort of your home or office. It’s actually tougher for a less tech-savvy person in a class because the instructor has to go at the speed of the class. And if you still need help, 1:1 coaching is available.
If you want to stay in the game – participate.
If you want to win the game – dominate.
