Hi! I’m Giselle Aguiar, the AZ Social Media Wiz, and I’ve been doing Internet marketing since 1995. Actually, I started in retailing in the 70s. However, I was bored waiting at the store for customers to walk in. I wanted to figure out how to get them into the store. That’s marketing. (See my video interviews below.)
In the early 90s, when PCs first came out, I was blessed to have a boss who was willing to just let me play with the graphics program, CorelDRAW!, and I discovered that what I could not do freehand, I could do on the computer — graphic design. I was able to manifest the creative ideas in my mind onto the computer screen.
When the Internet and the World Wide Web emerged, I thought, ‘I can do that!’ I learned website design, HTML, and SEO. My web design business in Miami, Creative Eye Marketing, was founded in 1995.
Check out my article on the History of the Internet.
Fast Forward to 2011
I saw that many people didn’t understand Social Media or how to promote their businesses with it. It’s déjà vu for me. Now I’m holding seminars teaching business owners, “What is Social Media, where it’s going, and why your company needs to be on it,” and I’m specializing in just Social Media business page setups, strategic planning, and training people.

What’s different is that back in the 90s, you needed to know HTML coding, have the right web creation software, and really know what you were doing. Not so today. WordPress has made website creation and management so easy that anyone can do it. Sure, you need to learn how to use it (I can teach you), but for a simple website, you don’t have to have a “webmaster” in-house or on retainer when you want to update or change something on your site.
And the Social Media marketing tools are free and easy to use. You just have to learn how to properly and effectively use them, and once you learn and start doing it, it becomes second nature to you, and it will take less time.
Google Analytics Certified

This certification validates my ability to move beyond basic setups and unlock actionable insights that drive business growth. As a Certified user with a deep understanding of the Google Analytics data model, I can interpret data across different reporting surfaces and use key measurement features to make smarter, data-driven marketing decisions to improve your business marketing efforts.
By earning the Google Analytics Certification, Google recognizes my ability to:
- Configure (set up) and manage a Google Analytics property, including understanding its event-based data model and creating data streams to collect valuable information that helps guide decisions and improve your business marketing efforts.
- Navigate the core reporting workspaces (Reports, Explore, Advertising) to find and analyze the data that matters most to your business.
- Translate business objectives into measurable actions by setting up key events, conversions, and audiences.
- Derive critical insights from your data by understanding attribution (source) models, data sampling, and how to use custom reports to answer complex business questions.
- Activate your data for strategic advantage by using cross-channel insights for budgeting, connecting Google Analytics with other tools like Google Ads, and leveraging first-party data.
In other words, I’m able to turn valuable data from your website, organic and paid ads on Google, and social channels into decisions that actually improve your business. This goes way beyond page views and user counts.
Giselle Aguiar’s Mission:
To help small business owners who are struggling with how to effectively market their businesses online.
What I’ve learned from conducting live classes since starting my company is that you, the small business owner, know your business best. You are not a professional marketer, a salesperson, or an accountant. You know YOUR business. But to be successful in business — no matter how large or small — you either have to learn how to do marketing, sales, and accounting, or hire someone to do it for you. Either way, you have to invest some time and money to find what works best for you and your business.
So you’re not “tech-savvy”!
That doesn’t matter. I can teach anyone willing to learn. It may take some folks longer than others. However, it is possible.
If you want to stay in the game – participate.
If you want to win the game – dominate.
No more excuses! Let’s start with a FREE 15-minute Zoom Strategy Session to discuss YOUR business’ specific marketing needs. Click here to schedule…
I can teach you how to blog on WordPress.
