What are the Steps to Effective Organic Digital and Social Media Marketing
- Clearly identify your target market(s) and create a persona(s)
- What is your Unique Selling Proposition (USP) – What makes you different? Why should someone choose you rather than a competitor?
- Research your target markets and get to know them – which networks do they frequent? What are their pain points or problems that you can solve?
- Research your competition – How often are they blogging or publishing videos? Where do they come up on Google and AI search compared to you? How active are they on social media? How many followers do they have? What are they doing that you’re not?
- Set SMART goals for your business and marketing.
- Set up a well-branded website and social media profile pages optimized for search. Branding should be consistent throughout your website and social profiles. Make sure it looks good — it’s your online image.
- Develop a strategic plan to meet those goals. Without a strategic plan, you’ll be lost, overwhelmed, and unsuccessful.
- Put together a tactical plan to implement the strategy. This becomes your to-do list. What to post/publish when and where.
- Learn how content marketing, SEO & social media all work together. I can teach you 1:1, or you can watch some of my YouTube videos.
- Create and curate content. Publish consistently and regularly showcasing your N-E-E-A-T-T.
- Have a clear call-to-action: a free download, coupon, or offer, to generate quality leads — not everyone is ready to buy at first glance.
- Set up an email automation workflow to guide leads to buy and keep you in mind throughout their buying journey.
- Monitor and measure – check your analytics and insights every month to see what’s working and not working. Then plan accordingly for the next month.
